What to Know Before You Go

Welcome to Hoochenanny, our three-day, whiskey-fueled music festival near the shores of Lake Ontario. We’re excited to have you join us at Camp Eastman for a weekend filled with live music, craft spirits, good food, and great company. Here’s everything you need to know to make your arrival and entry smooth and stress-free.

AXS is the official ticketing partner of Hoochenanny. All passes will be scanned at the gate using the AXS mobile app. To ensure a smooth arrival, please download and sign in to the AXS app on your mobile device before coming to the festival. To use the app, you must have an AXS account created with the same email address you used to purchase your passes. For setup instructions and troubleshooting, visit axs.com/faq.

When you arrive at Camp Eastman, you’ll be greeted by Irondequoit Town Police and Town of Irondequoit officials who will be on site directing traffic and assisting with vehicle flow.

Designated handicap parking will be available for guests with a valid permit, along with a designated area for motorcycle parking.

Parking lots will open 30 minutes prior to festival hours. Parking is $10 per vehicle per day and both cash and credit are accepted at entry. VIP Pass holders receive complimentary parking. Please note: loitering, camping, and tailgating are not permitted in the parking areas.

If you’ve been contacted as a giveaway winner or are attending as part of a sponsor group, your passes will be held at will call/box office under your name. Please bring a valid photo ID to pick them up.

Once on foot, follow the signage to your designated entry line based on your access level:

  • VIP Pass Entry

  • GA + Tasting Pass Entry

  • General Admission Entry

All guests will be asked to present valid ID at the gate. This helps us verify access levels and maintain compliance with age-restricted service policies. After your ID is checked, you’ll receive a color-coded wristband that must be worn at all times. Guests without wristbands will not be permitted to remain on the festival grounds.

Please note that Hoochenanny has a no re-entry policy. If you need to leave for a personal reason and plan to return, speak with our security team at the gate before exiting.

If you haven’t yet purchased a pass, a limited number of day-of tickets will be available at the on-site box office. For your convenience, we encourage purchasing in advance. If you buy at the door, you will need to stop by the box office before approaching the gates.

Festival grounds will be open Friday, August 8, from 2 to 10 p.m., Saturday, August 9, from noon to 10 p.m., and Sunday, August 10, from 2 to 10 p.m.

As we approach the event, we will reveal the set times for the full festival music lineup. Sign up for our email list to be the first to know.

Hoochenanny is primarily designed for guests 21 and over. However, we recognize that some attendees may wish to bring younger family members. Children 10 and under may attend for free when accompanied by a ticketed adult who is 21 or older. All other attendees must purchase a pass for entry. All attendees under 18 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian.

Passes are available for purchase on our website. General admission and VIP pass options are available. Get yours early to secure the best price.

All pass sales are final. There are no refunds on passes for any reason.

You will not be able to re-enter the festival after leaving.

There will be a variety of food vendors and a selection of whiskey tastings, along with other alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks.

Outside food and beverages are not allowed.

Yes, free water-filling stations will be available throughout the festival. Additionally, bottled water can be purchased at bars and vendor stations. Attendees are welcome to bring an empty plastic water bottle, but please note that glass, metal, steel, and aluminum containers are not permitted at the festival.

There is ample on-site parking available for $10 per car per day. Attendees are encouraged to use ride-sharing services or public transportation.

Yes, motorcycle parking will be available near the main entrance on paved surfaces, courtesy of Harv’s Harley-Davidson.

VIP Passes are available and provide access to the VIP Loft double-decker tent, which offers a bird’s-eye view of the festival stages with VIP Bridge access for optimal viewing. The tent includes exclusive whiskey tastings, full cash bars, and plush cocktail lounges on both levels. Sit-down dining and dedicated catering are available for purchase, and climate-controlled luxury restrooms are provided. A cigar bar featuring custom-made, hand-rolled cigars is also available. Free on-site parking is included. Please note: The first level of the double-decker is wheelchair accessible.

General Admission pass holders who wish to experience the World of Whiskey can upgrade their passes on-site. Please visit the ticket office at the festival to purchase an upgrade and gain access to additional whiskey tastings.

Lost and Found will be located at a designated area within the festival grounds. If you find or lose something, visit Lost and Found or contact festival staff.

Yes, there will be a designated ride-share drop-off and pickup area at the festival. As we get closer to the event, more details will be available on our website. Please check our site for the latest information.

Yes, Camp Eastman is within the Regional Transit Service (RTS) Irondequoit On Demand Zone. To book a ride with RTS On Demand, you can use the On Demand app, available for download from the App Store or Google Play, or call Customer Service at 585-288-1700. For more information, visit myrts.com.

We are unable to accommodate RVs, campers, or trailers at Camp Eastman. However, we can accommodate standard modes of transportation, including cars, vans, SUVs, pickup trucks, motorcycles, and bicycles. Overnight parking for larger vehicles is not permitted.

The closest campgrounds are located in Webster Park, about 8 miles east of Camp Eastman. For more information on available campsites, please visit Webster Park’s website.

For the safety and security of all attendees, there will be security screening at the entrance. We reserve the right to inspect any items brought into the festival and conduct personal searches to ensure compliance with our policies regarding weapons, outside alcohol, and other prohibited items. We appreciate your cooperation in respecting the festival’s rules.

Yes, folding chairs are permitted at Hoochenanny.

There will be a designated area on the lawn with a clear view of both stages specifically for guests who wish to sit in their own lawn chairs. Please note that chairs will only be allowed in this marked section to ensure a comfortable and safe experience for all attendees.

Look for onsite signage upon arrival for directions to the chair-friendly zone.

No pets are allowed. Service animals are permitted in accordance with Federal ADA regulations. Only animals that meet the ADA definition of a service animal will be allowed. Emotional support animals, therapy animals, and pets will be turned away at the gate.

To make sure you have everything you need at Hoochenanny, feel free to bring the following items:

  • Blankets
  • Sunscreen
  • A hat for shade
  • Sunglasses
  • Clear bags
  • Empty water bottles that are NOT glass
  • Bug spray
  • Rain gear (if applicable)
  • Mobile phone cameras

All items are subject to search, and the prohibited items list may change. Please leave the following items at home:

  • Outside food and drink
  • Dogs or pets
  • Glass, metal, steel, and aluminum bottles or any containers
  • Pop-up tents
  • Coolers
  • Bicycles or scooters
  • Umbrellas
  • Drones
  • Professional cameras with detachable lenses/DSLR (without a media pass)
  • Weapons of any kind
  • Illegal or illicit substances
  • Fireworks or fire starters
  • Unauthorized vending of any kind

There are several restroom options throughout the festival grounds to accommodate your needs. For VIP Pass holders, we offer access to a luxury restroom trailer, providing added comfort during your festival experience.

Credit and debit cards are accepted throughout the festival. Some vendors may accept cash as well.

Yes, cash is accepted at certain vendor locations throughout the festival. The bars in the Stageview Cocktail Lounge, Concert Pavilion, VIP Loft, and World of Whiskey also accept both cash and credit cards.

Yes, we have several ATMs located at various points around the festival grounds, making it easy to access cash throughout the event.

Hoochenanny is a rain or shine event. No refunds will be given for inclement weather, so come prepared for the elements.

Hoochenanny is designed to be accessible for all guests. Some areas of the festival grounds may have slightly inclined terrain, so please exercise caution and don’t hesitate to ask for assistance if needed. ADA restrooms will be available throughout the venue. The festival is committed to ensuring everyone, regardless of ability, has access to all amenities and experiences. Passes Faqs

Passes will be available for purchase on our website starting Friday, March 28, at noon ET. General admission and VIP pass options are available. Secure yours early for the best price. Service fees apply to all purchases. During checkout, you must select the day(s) you plan to attend.

A one-day pass grants entry to the one day you select during the purchase process: August 8, 9, or 10, 2025.
A two-day pass grants entry to the two days you select during the purchase process.
A three-day pass grants entry to all three days of the festival.

Yes, passes are transferable if you are unable to attend the festival. However, passes cannot be shared or used by multiple people on the same day.

Yes, there will be a ticket office at the festival during operating hours. If inventory allows, passes will be available for purchase on-site, either by cash or credit. Please note that no holds will be available. All passes must be purchased in advance online or in person, subject to availability.

A Tasting Pass or VIP Pass that includes access to the World of Whiskey allows up to 20 tastings per patron. Additional tastings can be purchased on-site during the event.

General Admission pass holders who wish to experience the World of Whiskey can upgrade their passes on-site. Please visit the box office at the festival to purchase an upgrade and gain access to additional whiskey tastings.

No, food is not included with a pass. However, there will be food options available from the Barrel Bistro for all guests, and sit-down catering will be provided for VIP pass holders in the VIP Loft.

If you forget your mobile phone with your tickets, please visit the festival box office or guest services for assistance. You may be able to verify your ticket information with your ID or through other means. We recommend having a backup plan, such as printing your tickets in advance, if possible.

We strongly advise against purchasing passes from third parties or scalpers. We will not authenticate, service, or support passes purchased from unauthorized sources. Additionally, we do not assist with any third-party transactions. To ensure your passes are valid, please purchase directly from our official website or authorized sales channels.
