Know Before You Go: Tickets and Entry
Get Your Tickets Ready Before You Arrive
AXS is the exclusive ticketing partner of Hoochenanny Festival. Tickets purchased online are delivered through AXS and scanned at the gate using the AXS mobile app.
Cellular and Wi-Fi service may be limited near the festival grounds, so set up your account and confirm your tickets before leaving home.

- Sign in using the email address connected to your order.
- Confirm that your Hoochenanny tickets appear in the app.
- Fully charge your phone.
- Transfer tickets in advance if members of your group will arrive separately.
Screenshots and printed copies of mobile tickets will not be accepted. Your secure ticket must be displayed directly in the AXS app.
Purchased in Person?
Bring your original tickets. If you don’t have them, bring a photo ID matching the name on the order or the card used for the purchase. Our team can retrieve your order or reprint your tickets at Will Call.
Buying tickets online in advance will save the most time at the gate—so you don’t miss a drumbeat.

Festival and Box Office Hours
- Friday, Aug. 14: Festival 4–10 p.m.; box office 3–8:30 p.m.
- Saturday, Aug. 15: Festival 2–10 p.m.; box office 1–8:30 p.m.
- Sunday, Aug. 16: Festival 2–10 p.m.; box office 1–8:30 p.m.
The box office opens one hour before the festival each day. Subject to availability, guests arriving after 8:30 p.m. may purchase tickets online through AXS. Arrive early to enjoy everything the festival has to offer and not miss a drumbeat of the music.
Parking, Shuttles and Transportation
Paid on-site parking, free parking with complimentary shuttle service, accessible parking, motorcycle parking, bicycle racks and a designated ride-share area will be available.

Entering the Festival
Follow signs to the VIP or General Admission entry line. Have your ticket open in the AXS app and ready to scan.
Guests purchasing or sampling alcohol must present a valid, government-issued photo ID. Wristbands must be worn at all times and may not be shared or transferred.
General Admission and GA+ tickets do not include re-entry. VIP ticket holders receive unlimited re-entry during festival hours.

Friday General Admission and Saturday VIP tickets are sold out. Limited Friday GA+ and VIP tickets remain, along with Sunday GA, GA+ and VIP tickets.
Advance purchase is strongly encouraged. Day-of tickets are not guaranteed.

What are the hours?
Festival grounds will be open Friday, August 14, from 4:00 to 10:00 PM, Saturday, August 15, from 2:00 to 10:00 PM, and Sunday, August 16, from 2:00 to 10:00 PM
What are the showtimes for the music acts?
As we approach the event, we will reveal the set times for the full festival music lineup. Sign up for our email list to be the first to know.
Is this a 21+ event?
Hoochenanny is welcoming to guests of all ages, and this year’s festival will feature an even more family-friendly atmosphere. Children 10 and under may attend for free when accompanied by a ticketed adult who is 21 or older. All other attendees must purchase a pass for entry. All guests under 18 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian.
How do I buy passes?
Passes are available for purchase on our website. General admission and VIP pass options are available. Get yours early to secure the best price.
Is anything free?
Yes. Admission on Friday, August 14 is free for guests of all ages. Advance registration is required, and space is limited. Entry will be granted on a first-come, first-served basis once registered.
Are pass sales refundable?
All pass sales are final. There are no refunds on passes for any reason.
What is the re-entry policy?
You will not be able to re-enter the festival after leaving.
Will food and drinks be available?
There will be a variety of food vendors and a selection of whiskey tastings, along with other alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks.
Can I bring my own food and drinks?
Outside food and beverages are not allowed.
Will there be water available?
Yes, bottled water can be purchased at bars and vendor stations. Attendees are welcome to bring an empty plastic water bottle, but please note that glass, metal, steel, and aluminum containers are not permitted at the festival.
Is parking available?
On-site parking is available for $20 per car per day. Attendees are encouraged to use ride-sharing services or public transportation. For more parking details, please check our website as the event approaches.
Will there be a place for motorcycles to park?
Yes, motorcycle parking will be available near the main entrance on paved surfaces, courtesy of Harv’s Harley-Davidson.
Is there a VIP experience?
VIP Passes are available and provide access to the VIP Loft double-decker tent, which offers a bird’s-eye view of the festival stages with VIP Bridge access for optimal viewing. The tent includes exclusive whiskey tastings, full cash bars, and plush cocktail lounges on both levels. Sit-down dining and dedicated catering are available for purchase, and climate-controlled luxury restrooms are provided. A cigar bar featuring custom-made, hand-rolled cigars is also available. Free on-site parking is included. Please note: The first level of the double-decker is wheelchair accessible.
Can I buy whiskey-tasting passes separately?
General Admission pass holders who wish to experience the World of Whiskey can upgrade their passes on-site. Please visit the ticket office at the festival to purchase an upgrade and gain access to additional whiskey tastings.

What if I lose something at the festival?
Lost and Found will be located at a designated area within the festival grounds. If you find or lose something, visit Lost and Found or contact festival staff.
Are there nearby hotels?
Is there a designated ride-share drop-off and pickup spot?
Yes, there will be a designated ride-share drop-off and pickup area at the festival. As we get closer to the event, more details will be available on our website. Please check our site for the latest information.
Is there public transportation available to Perinton Community Center?
Yes. The Town of Perinton’s James E. Smith Community Center, located at 1350 Turk Hill Road, Fairport, NY, is served by Regional Transit Service (RTS). You can plan your trip using RTS Route 50 (Fairport–Penfield Suburban), which serves the surrounding area. For route schedules and trip planning, visit myrts.com.
Can I park my RV and/or camper at Perinton Community Center for the festival?
We are unable to accommodate RVs, campers, or trailers at Perinton Community Center. However, we can accommodate standard modes of transportation, including cars, vans, SUVs, pickup trucks, motorcycles, and bicycles. Overnight parking for larger vehicles is not permitted.
Are there any campsites nearby?
The closest campground to the festival is Twilight on the Erie RV Resort, located about 8 miles from Perinton Community Center, approximately a 15-minute drive. For campground information, availability, and reservations, please visit twilightrv.com.
What security measures should I expect at the entrance?
For the safety and security of all attendees, there will be security screening at the entrance. We reserve the right to inspect any items brought into the festival and conduct personal searches to ensure compliance with our policies regarding weapons, outside alcohol, and other prohibited items. We appreciate your cooperation in respecting the festival’s rules.
Can I bring a folding chair to Hoochenanny?
Yes, folding chairs are permitted at Hoochenanny.
There will be a designated area on the lawn with a clear view of both stages specifically for guests who wish to sit in their own lawn chairs. Please note that chairs will only be allowed in this marked section to ensure a comfortable and safe experience for all attendees.
Look for onsite signage upon arrival for directions to the chair-friendly zone.
Can I bring my pet to the festival?
No pets are allowed. Service animals are permitted in accordance with Federal ADA regulations. Only animals that meet the ADA definition of a service animal will be allowed. Emotional support animals, therapy animals, and pets will be turned away at the gate.
What items am I allowed to bring?
To make sure you have everything you need at Hoochenanny, feel free to bring the following items:
- Blankets
- Sunscreen
- A hat for shade
- Sunglasses
- Clear bags
- Empty water bottles that are NOT glass
- Bug spray
- Rain gear (if applicable)
- Mobile phone cameras and point-and-shoot cameras with attached lenses.
What items are not allowed?
All items are subject to search, and the prohibited items list may change. Please leave the following items at home:
- Outside food and drink
- Dogs or pets
- Glass, metal, steel, and aluminum bottles or any containers
- Pop-up tents
- Coolers
- Bicycles or scooters
- Umbrellas
- Drones
- Professional cameras with detachable lenses/DSLR (without a media pass)
- Weapons of any kind
- Illegal or illicit substances
- Fireworks or fire starters
- Unauthorized vending of any kind
Where are the restroom facilities located and what are the options?
There are several restroom options throughout the festival grounds to accommodate your needs. For VIP Pass holders, we offer access to a luxury restroom trailer, providing added comfort during your festival experience.
Will vendors accept credit cards?
Credit and debit cards are accepted throughout the festival. Some vendors may accept cash as well.
Is cash accepted on-site?
Yes, cash is accepted at certain vendor locations throughout the festival. The bars in the Stageview Cocktail Lounge, Concert Pavilion, VIP Loft, and World of Whiskey also accept both cash and credit cards.
Will there be ATMs on site?
Yes, we have several ATMs located at various points around the festival grounds, making it easy to access cash throughout the event.
What happens if it rains?
Hoochenanny is a rain or shine event. No refunds will be given for inclement weather, so come prepared for the elements.
Are there accommodations for guests with mobility needs?
Hoochenanny is designed to be accessible for all guests. Some areas of the festival grounds may have slightly inclined terrain, so please exercise caution and don’t hesitate to ask for assistance if needed. ADA restrooms will be available throughout the venue. The festival is committed to ensuring everyone, regardless of ability, has access to all amenities and experiences. How do I buy tickets?
Tickets will be available for purchase on our website starting Monday, April 13, at 10:00 AM ET. General admission and VIP pass options are available. Secure yours early for the best price. Service fees apply to all purchases. During checkout, you must select the day(s) you plan to attend.

Do I need a ticket for Free General Admission on Friday, August 14?
Yes. All guests are required to have a ticket for entry, including Free General Admission on Friday, August 14. While admission is free that day, advance registration is required, and all tickets must be secured in advance and scanned at the entrance for entry.
Are pass sales refundable?
All pass sales are final. There are no refunds on passes for any reason.
How many tickets can I purchase at once?
You may purchase up to 8 tickets per transaction. There is no limit on the number of transactions, subject to availability.
What is AXS? Where can I download the AXS App?
AXS is our exclusive ticketing partner. All official tickets for all Hoochenanny Festival shows are sold through this platform. You will receive a link to download your tickets in your email inbox shortly after purchasing them online. Are passes transferable?
Yes, tickets are transferable if you are unable to attend the festival. However, they cannot be shared or used by multiple people on the same day.
Will there be a will call/box office?
Yes, there will be a ticket office at the festival during operating hours. If inventory allows, passes will be available for purchase on-site, either by cash or credit. Please note that no holds will be available. All passes must be purchased in advance online or in person, subject to availability.

Is food included in the price of a Pass?
No, food is not included with a pass. However, there will be food options available from the Barrel Bistro for all guests, and sit-down catering will be provided for VIP pass holders in the VIP Loft.
What if I forget my mobile phone that has my passes on it?
If you forget your mobile phone with your tickets, please visit the festival box office or guest services for assistance. You may be able to verify your ticket information with your ID or through other means. We recommend having a backup plan, such as printing your tickets in advance, if possible.
What if I see passes being sold by a third party or scalper?
We strongly advise against purchasing passes from third parties or scalpers. We will not authenticate, service, or support passes purchased from unauthorized sources. Additionally, we do not assist with any third-party transactions. To ensure your passes are valid, please purchase directly from our official website or authorized sales channels.
