Thank you for your interest in covering the 2026 Hoochenanny Festival. We’re excited to welcome members of the media for a weekend of live music, American whiskey, craft beverages and unforgettable festival experiences.
To help ensure a safe, professional and enjoyable experience for everyone, please review the following guidelines and share them with anyone from your outlet attending as credentialed media.
Media Credentials
Media credentials are issued exclusively to working members of the press, photographers, videographers and approved content creators covering the festival.
Please note:
Media credentials are issued to individuals and are non-transferable.
Credentials must be worn visibly at all times while on festival grounds.
Credentials provide access only to approved media areas and do not include festival experiences, food, beverages or tastings unless specifically arranged in advance.
Interview opportunities, photo access and backstage availability are subject to artist management approval and festival operations.
Failure to follow festival policies or staff instructions may result in the revocation of media credentials.
Photography & Video
We encourage coverage of the festival while respecting the experience of artists, guests and fellow media.
Please observe the following:
Only credentialed media with photo/video access may capture professional photography or video in designated media areas.
No flash photography, external lighting, drones or on-stage photography are permitted unless approved in advance.
Remain within designated media areas and avoid obstructing guest views or festival operations.
Artist-specific restrictions take precedence. Some performances may limit photography or prohibit video recording.
Performance Stage Access
Highball Stage
Please check in with the Hoochenanny PR team before each performance for that artist’s approved photo policy.
Approved photo pit access is first-come, first-served and may be limited.
Most artists will follow a “first three songs, no flash” policy unless otherwise communicated.
Harv’s Fermenter Stage
Credentialed media may photograph performances from designated areas as directed by festival staff.
Artist-specific restrictions may still apply.
World of Whiskey
Media are welcome to capture the atmosphere, participating distilleries and educational experiences inside the World of Whiskey.
Please note:
Media credentials do not include whiskey tastings unless arranged in advance.
Be respectful of participating distilleries and guests.
If you’d like to schedule interviews with participating distillers or festival partners, please contact the PR team before or during the festival.
Bourbon Broadcasts & Fireside Chats
Photography and short video clips are welcome unless otherwise noted.
Please:
Keep movement to a minimum during discussions.
Respect presenters and audience members.
Coordinate any planned interviews with the PR team.
VIP & Hospitality Areas
Access to VIP spaces, hospitality areas and backstage locations is limited to those with the appropriate credentials or prior approval.
Please do not enter restricted areas unless escorted by festival staff.
Social Media & Content Creators
Approved creators are encouraged to capture and share their festival experience throughout the weekend.
Creator credentials:
Must be approved prior to the festival.
Do not include backstage access, artist meet-and-greets or tasting privileges unless specifically authorized.
Should follow the same artist photography and filming restrictions as credentialed media.
Interviews
Interview requests for artists, festival organizers, distillers or partners should be coordinated through the Hoochenanny PR team.
While we will do our best to accommodate requests, interview availability depends on artist schedules, management approval and festival operations.
A Few Final Reminders
Some festival spaces have limited capacity and may temporarily restrict access.
Please follow all instructions from festival staff and security.
Respect fellow media members, artists, vendors and guests throughout the weekend.
Misuse of credentials may result in removal from the festival and affect future credential requests.
Need Assistance?
Our PR team is available throughout the festival to help coordinate interviews, answer questions and assist with coverage.
